John Wideman, M.D. P.C.

Dr. John Wideman brings his belief in traditional values of medicine using modern technology to his practice at Brookwood Women's Medical Plaza in Birmingham. A graduate of the University of Alabama Medical School, Dr. Wideman completed a four-year residency in OB-GYN at Tulane University, New Orleans. He is OB-GYN Board certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a member of American Medical Association, the Jefferson County Medical Society, and the Birmingham OB-GYN Society. Having practiced in Cullman for five years, Dr. Wideman has returned home to Birmingham to Brookwood Medical Center to continue the family tradition where his father, Dr. Gilder L. Wideman, practiced OB-GYN for 42 years.
